Interview – JESKO (Esquadrão Guild)
1. Introduction & Background
Epimeteu: To begin, could you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about the Esquadrão guild?
JESKO: Of course! My name is JESKO, and I’ve been the leader of the Esquadrão guild for about three months now. The guild was originally created in August 2024 by the account Ultred. The main idea behind its creation was to gather Brazilian players who genuinely enjoy playing GodsWar Online — people who play because they love the game, not just out of habit.
Since I became the leader, we’ve been focusing on keeping our community active and growing. Our primary goals include keeping PvP alive and competitive on the server, participating in as many events as we can, maintaining a healthy and fun environment for our members, and eventually becoming one of the top guilds on the server as a whole. Many of our members now have strong accounts, which lets them truly enjoy PvP, 1v1 battles, faction skirmishes, and events like SK and Mycenae.
2. Server Experience & Guild Performance
Epimeteu: How active do you think your guild is compared to the rest of the server?
JESKO: Honestly, I believe Esquadrão is currently one of the most active guilds in Sparta. We have a lot of players who participate daily in almost all available events — and I’m talking about real players, not people logging into two or three alts just to fill numbers.
One of our biggest challenges is bridging the gap between our regular and F2P players and the extremely strong accounts on the server. We have many F2P members who rely heavily on events like Consul and Pindus to keep progressing, because the rewards make a huge difference for them.
Epimeteu: Has the guild achieved any major victories recently?
JESKO: Absolutely — our biggest achievement was the most recent Castle Siege. It had been a long time since I felt genuinely excited about an event. As a guild, we discussed strategies, roles, positions, and possible scenarios for days. Even though I'm not one of the strongest accounts, everyone placed a lot of trust in me as a leader.
The teamwork was incredible. We even received help from players outside Brazil, like Manreza, who isn’t Brazilian but contributed massively to our coordination and success. It felt like a milestone for all of us.
3. Thoughts About the Game
Epimeteu: What do you personally enjoy the most about GodsWar?
JESKO: That’s a tough question because I honestly enjoy almost everything. I love the progression aspect of the game — watching my character grow day by day. Whether it’s forging equipment, gaining more suit points, improving my zodiac, or making my pet stronger, every small step feels rewarding.
I enjoy the variety of systems that all contribute to making characters unique and powerful. The satisfaction of logging in and knowing I can make progress in some area — even a small one — keeps me motivated.
4. Guild Relations & Server Dynamics
Epimeteu: How do you see the guild landscape on the Olympia server right now?
JESKO: The server has a mix of different types of guilds. Many are small groups of friends who play casually, while others — like Esquadrão — are more active and participate more competitively.
Our biggest rivals at the moment are the Legacy guild. They have many strong accounts, but from what I can tell, a lot of those accounts are controlled by just a few real players who manage multiple logins. That doesn’t make them any less strong, but it affects how active they seem from the outside.
We also have a sort of partnership with the China guild, so we don’t really consider them rivals.
Epimeteu: Do you think the game needs more cooperative content between factions?
JESKO: Definitely. I think the game would benefit immensely from a faction-based cooperative event — something big and impactful. Imagine both factions having to team up once a month to defeat a final boss like Zeus, or prevent Pandora’s Box from releasing a server-wide debuff that removes XP buffs for 15 days.
On the flip side, if we succeed, both factions could receive a global XP buff for 15 days. I think this would create excitement, unity, and competition all at once.
5. Future of the Game
Epimeteu: What improvements would you like to see in the game?
JESKO: My main expectations for the game are to maintain the current farming and reward system. I don’t think we need more instances; we already have Medusa, Atlantis, and Wonderland, which take quite a lot of time, and I believe these instances can be improved. Starting with them would be the best approach.
Instances (Atlantis, Medusa, Wonderland)
Atlantis and Medusa are repetitive and take too long. Suggestion: weekly versions with x7 rewards to reduce daily fatigue. Wonderland is good but needs better drop rates.
Quest System
New faction maps are great, but we need new quests for level 135+. A bonus for completing all daily quests would motivate players.
Pet System (Pet Island Concept)
Pet Island – A map dedicated entirely to pet progression. Each pet would have its own daily quest.
- Kill 500 mobs → earn Pet Fragments
- Exchange fragments for Jade or Skills:
- 100 fragments → Jade (Panda, Ghost, etc.)
- 150 fragments → Skill 2
- 200 → Skill 3
- 250 → Skill 4
- 300 → Skill 5
- 350 → Skill 6
Daily limit: 3 quests per day, each tied to a different pet. This would make pet-building accessible for everyone without destroying game balance.
Storage System
The Web Warehouse is not practical: logging out and back in repeatedly is frustrating. We need more in-game storage tabs (1, 2, 3, 4), just like modern MMOs.
Profession System
Too time-consuming in the current format. Suggestion: simplify or return to the old Romance Island style.
Item Stacking
More items should stack (e.g., SS7).
Suit Points & Item Tiers
Suit Points are one of the best reward systems in the game. It’s time to introduce Platinum items, and maybe even more tiers in the future.
Also, the NPC that converts Suit Points into XP has a serious issue: Level 130 → max 30m XP per day; Level 140 → also 30m. This needs scaling. Level 140 should receive something like 80m per day.
Nameplate System
Nameplate XP rewards do not scale properly: at level 121, using sets 1–6 gives 5,520,000 XP; at level 140, it gives the exact same amount. This system needs a level-based XP increase.
6. Final Thoughts
Epimeteu: Would you like to end with a final message?
JESKO: Yes. First of all, the dev is doing an excellent job with the game. Even while dealing with DDoS attacks, Victor is still making sure we can farm every day. The team creating the new maps is also doing an incredible job — seriously, they look amazing, way beyond what I expected. The constant updates make me want to play even more and get stronger each day. You all make an amazing team, and I hope I can help in some way with the suggestions I shared.
I truly hope my suggestions help the game continue improving. And to finish, I’d like to leave a challenge for the development team: What do you think about a Cross-Server Pindus?
If you need anything, feel free to contact me on Discord — I’m JESKOOOOO. A big hug from the entire Esquadrão guild.
